IOWA CITY, Iowa. (WOWT) – The Iowa Division of Corrections has introduced the loss of life of an inmate as a result of COVID-19.
Robert Frank Taylor, 72, was pronounced useless as a result of issues referring to the virus and different preexisting circumstances on Sunday, Jan. 31. It’s reported round 8:45 p.m. on the College of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Taylor was serving a life sentence for first-degree homicide from Black Hawk County. He was incarcerated on the Iowa Medical and Classification Middle and began his life sentence on Jan. 26, 1980.
Taylor’s loss of life is the division’s 17th loss of life in relation to the virus.
